I'm not sure what this has to do with Emil Sit's report earlier, but atc
just up and kernel panic'd on me. The machine was idle, running Emacs and
Netscape. No activity to speak of, not even keyboard/mouse. It appeared to
give the same crash log as before:
pb 13: <0>PANIC: KERNEL FAULT
pb 14: PC: 0x0 ep:881c8a38
pb 15: EXC code:128, `Software detected SEGV '
pb 16: Bad addr: 0x0, cause: 0x8<CE=0,EXC=RMISS>
pb 17: sr: 0xff03<IM8,IM7,IM6,IM5,IM4,IM3,IM2,IM1,IPL=0,MODE=KERNEL,EXL,IE>
..and now it appears that the crash log originally in question was
overwritten.
