Prof. Duvvuru Sriram had a workstation deployed to him many months ago.
Model: VSII
Location: m1-253a
The cluster manager is Mauricio Daher, (x-7259). He said he had a drop,
yet he was having network problems with the system. When Lenny and I went
to check out this problem, we discovered many odd things.
1.) The drop that he was talking about was hooked up by him -and we don't
know where it came from or how it works.
2.) He has NOT put in a request for a Name and Address.
Currently, the system is called "caes-p", obviously a recycled
print-server re-deployed.
He would like the system to be called: m1-253-1
It was clear that neither Lenny nor I could help his workstation
get on the net- and the way in which he "rigged" up the system drop-wise
did not look like he followed the standard Athena procedures (ie,
notifying Telecomm).
I think he should be contacted to clarify these problems.
