printer zeroing out files?

Hi,
Someone called hotline and reported problems with sending jobs to the
printer. He said, sometimes he sends a job and it prints, other times
it gets zeroed out. He is printing postscript files and they range
in size from 14,000 to 35,000 (nothing out of the ordinary).
The printer is iona-p (on the print-server iona) and is located in
48-206.
The person who called is: Steve at 3-5483.
It doesn't seem to be a hardware problem, could there be something flakey
with the software?
