I sorry it took so long to reply to you. The printer
does the dpi on its own. There is no setting for
dpi in the /etc/printcap. You should check to see if
there is a setting on the printer which needs to be enabled
for 600 dpi.

Apparently you have a hesiod pointer the print spool name "oldham"
but not "kanga". What this means is you have a local "/etc/printcap"
which has the name "kanga" in it. You need to edit the printcap file
where you use "kanga" as the spool name and change it to "oldham".
