Eric, I found out what the problem was... The lpd that lives on
the system pack will no work for you because it is restricted to
18.xx.xx.xx address at MIT. That is why you get the following error
squeteague# lpq
TAUTOG.MIT.EDU... tautog.MIT.EDU: /usr/lib/lpd: Your host does not have line
printer access
I have changed the /etc/athena/rc.athena startup file so upon reboot it
will start /var/ops/lpd instead of /usr/lib/lpd. I have tested printing
from all of the SPARC5 hosts and they printed to scallop just fine.
If you have anymore problems of this nature send e-mail to "ops"
