Problem reported:faint print and jamming in the duplex assembly.
Action taken: replaced left block assembly and duplex assembly.

Problem reported: paper jams.
Action taken: removed torn piece of paper from paper registration assembly.

Problem reported: no video.

Notes: unit is still down, SGI admin failed to ship the unit. Called and 
confirmed a ship date of 12/20/95, should be here 12/21/95.

Problem reported: broken paper tray, as well as paper jams.

Problem reported: ghosting on printouts.
Action taken: Talked to JJ and explained the ghosting was due to a lack of 
humidity, suggested buying a humidifier.
Parts used:none.

PC Service log number: ?? no serial number, unable to log in to Service Works.

Date called in:12/11/95
Problem reported: "79 service error," Mac access problem as well.
Action taken: Mac access problem was due to a printer configuration error. 79 
error was cleared by turning printer off for a couple of minutes and then turned 
back on which cleared the formatter buffer.
Serial number and location of printer: Baker House, usfb366512.
PC Service log number: R6143.
Notes: I will consider this call closed for now and If they continue to have 79 
errors I will open a new service call and replace the formatter.

Date called in:12/6/95
Problem reported: network problems.
Serial number and location of printer:4-167, serial number-usbb119200.
Part used:J2337-80001.
PC Service log number:R6140.
Notes: when repair was called in it was unsure if the network drop was at fault 
or the Jet-Direct network card. Have not heard back from Lou and will assume 
that the card was at fault.
