Two days ago, I managed to delete all my dotfiles in a bizarre fashion.
I was logged in on a dirty line and entered the command "rm .*~" in an
attempt to remove backed-up tilde files. What got transmitted instead
was "rm .*&~", so as a result I am now sitting here with no dotfiles.
Not a happy way to start Christmas, is it?
Anyway, I'd really appreciate it if you could restore my dotfiles.
(Please? :-) My home directory is cyrus:/u1/lockers/tjwu. I had about
200K of dotfiles, so it would take quite a long time for me to replace
them.
