Yes, there is something on there. I created /var/home to keep some stuff
that was too big for the athena qoata. I tar'ed the stuff I want to keep
in to /var/home/MIT_OEIC_4/back, but I can't get it off (since root can't
ftp). If I can get this stuff copied onto my other workstation (oevlsi) then
the system should be clear to be purged. Incidentally, can you reload
S/W (whatever that means) without altering /var?
