We received word this morning that the Central Utilities Plant
is experiencing problems with one of the chillers. We are hoping to
maintain normal temperatures, but because of the problems at the Plant,
we may experience higher than normal chilled water temperatures. This
would affect equipment serviced by chilled water, as well as air
conditioning. The following is a list of buildings that are provided
chilled water from the Central Utilities Plant:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6A, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 12A, 13, 14, 16, 18,
24, 26, 36, 37, 38, 39, 42, 45, 48, 54, 56, 66, W16, W20 and NW14.
I will provide further updates throughout the day via email, as
well as the Physical Plant Emergency Information Line, x3-1300. Please
forward this message to the personnel in your department.
