I'm a grad student in the Building Technology Group. Part of my research
is to look into the functioning of the Energy Star compliant workstations
and their monitors (these are the so-called "green" machines). Apparently,
they drop into a low power mode during idle times; I'm trying to figure
out exactly how this happens.
Do you have a manual for the Sun SPARC Station 4 and for the new SGI
machines? I need to look in them for more information. At the very least,
I need to get phone numbers from them to look for technical support.
