pedagogue.mit.edu is failing to activate successfully. This is a
private workstation in room 3-343 to which I have root access. this
is an IBM rs/6000 workstation.
The xlogin screen indicates not activating successfully.
When logging in as root to the the console login screen, the console
in the xlogin screen indicates that the machine is in the middle of
an update.
When logging in via telnet, logins are allowed, but these errors are
reported:
/usr/athena/aklog: exec format error
failed to attach home directory
cp: /usr/prototype_user: connection timed out.
