Themis RA82 disk drive (again)

The RA82 which was involved in the call to DEC last week is still in
trouble. Last week, when there were errors involving this disk on Themis,
DEC reformated the disk. Trying to use it after the reformatting, we get
hard errors at various places on the disk (i.e., when we try to read the
disk, we get errors reported at different places each time we try). This
suggests a problem with the hardware involved in the actual turning or
accessing of the disk.

Please call DEC and schedule service for this disk as soon possible,
preferably during normal service hours... first thing Wed morning would
be good. Thanks.
