OK....I set up the packet filter for one of the machines but I could not find
a way to filter for everything doing to that net.  Does someone know ? 

Dave and I were in the cluster and could not find out anything from the logs.
the ping -f was done by root (login not an su) and they didn't leave anything
else around.   I the mail they sent almost certainly was not sent using
sendmail on that machine becaue 

	1) there was no log of it ther
	2) the host did not help when it connected to sidwinder
	3) it would have gone through the mail hubs anyway.
