Subject: RS6000 temporary storage ...
Date: Mon, 18 Jul 94 07:49:21 EDT
One of my many bosses has left for a months vacation (tough life) and during
his abscense, the belongings in his office are being moved to a new office.
In his office there is an Athena workstation (shanti) that I would temporarily
like to take out of harms way (movers are such clods). There is a locked
storage area nearby where I can move it but I'm wondering if my moving this
machine voids the maintenance contract (i.e. only authorized representatives
of Athena can move said machine).
I would not like to move the machine into his new office because I want to
wait for the movers to be done and because I think an Ethernet drop needs to
be installed first.
Please reply as to whether I can move this machine myself or not.
Jake
P.S. I bet this machine has not been upgraded with the additional 8Mb of
memory as yet.
