This weekend during the normal AFS restart (Sunday at 6 am ), the Athena Cell
AFS servers will take a newer version of the file server software. This new
software will allow stock Tranarc AFS clients to write to the Athena Cell.
We do not expect there to be any problems, however Operations staff will
be checking on the update and be available if complications do occur.
If you do notice problems after 6 am on Sunday, you can page Operations by
leaving voicemail on 253-2624.
