I need to have the SPARC V workstation that is in Miki's office moved to
where Nova is (across from Andy Oakland's office) on Monday (just for the
day). It's important that this get done speedily, as I would like to order a
number of SPARC V's early next week but need to check out the third party
software applications just to make sure that there are no problems. Miki
says that the machine will be ready to move after about 10:30 AM on Monday.
Please check with her before you do the physical move to be sure that it is
ready to go. The new location will be on the same subnet as the machine is
on now (172).
I or one of the FL's will spend Monday afternoon doing the test, and it
can be moved back to Miki's office at the end of the day and so we won't
have to worry about anchor padding it. Nova's CPU can stay where it is and
the monitor just moved aside.
Please confirm whether this move is possible.
