The AFS fileserver Acheron has been scheduled for downtime on
Friday July 8th 8am-9am. We need to correct a problem on the
external disk drives. The vendor sent us disks with the wrong internal
dip switch settings; causing the server to crash constantly. To
find out if you will be effected by this downtime do the following:
fs whereis <username>
If it says:
File /mit/<username> is on host ACHERON.MIT.EDU
Then you are on this server. If there are any questions or concerns let
"op" know. THanks
