Today, Sep. 28, 1993 at 12:30, I logged in to athena on workstation w20-575-11
in the SC Cluster. During initialization, the Console contained 'zwgc: host not
responding...' type errors. It reported problems, 'locating server',
'subscribing', etc. All UNIX shell commands such as 'finger' were extremely
slowed down, and Zephyr was completely out. I contacted OLC and had to check my
status within olc constantly because they could not notify me of the consultant
I was connected to, or whether I had anw answers or not, as these are all based
on Zephyr which was not working at that moment. Now, I assume, there is a
hardware problem or a bug in the software that disables certain basic features
in workstation w20-575-11. Please check it out. Thank you.
