Hi:

physical plant called to say that on October 5 they are shutting down the following fans from 9:30am to 12:30 pm

AH1 - affects 301eash & clean rooms

AH2 - affects 301 west & clean rooms

There seems to be a way that the physical plant people should be able to send mail to shutdowns.  The physical plant person has to call the help desk.  The help desk person has to write down the information.  The help desk person then has to key each one into a separate message to shutdowns.

Could someone explain why the physical plant people cannot do this.
