Hi.
Just got a "memory parity error" on w20-575-31 (18.187.0.50). The machine
has since rebooted, and I recover-file'd my lost work, so no problem there.
The error message, as well as I can remember it/had time to copy it ran as
follows:
Memory parity error
SIMM (module number) = BANK 2, D0-D15
Soft error
Byte in error (0-3) = 0
Data bit error
Transient errors for this SIMM = 0
Soft errors for this SIMM = 1
Hard errors for this SIMM = 0
Physical address of error = 0x168fa00 [just 7 digits]
Exception PC = 0x0
Virtual address of error = 0x0
Also just so you know, this happened during the very memory- and
CPU-intensive process of animating satellite weather maps. I usually don't
use that much memory...
Anyway, hope this email report can be of some help...
