Subject: Mac Repairs

Dear Anita,
Two of the Macs in the cluster are not happy. One works
sporadically, and the other doesn't work at all. I went to the MCC
to ask about reapirs, and the first thing they wanted to know was who
owned the machines. I thought it was Athena or the School of Science,
but I wasn't sure. In any case, they wanted proof. They also said
that they need to take the machines away in order to repair them.
They are locked down with anchor pads, and I don't know what it takes
to remove them.
Gene thought students might want to use the cluster tomorrow,
so I would like to get the machines repaired today, if possible. I'll
be free again at 3:30, so I'll check my mail then for any information
you can provide.
See you later,
Lisa
