an ancient vaxstation2 named 'eckbo' runs out of memory all the time now. I
think no changes have been made to its partitioning since 1987. It now always
runs out of swap.
An rt named 'eliot' has the same problems. I need its swap enlarged to
whatever seems appropriate for the athena 7.1 system. Other rts in the lab
don't have this problem.
Can you folks schedule service calls on these two machines?
Can you give me an idea of what appropriate swap space sizes are for these
machines -- the rt has 8M RAM, the vaxstation2 I don't know what it has in it.
Thanks!
Rob
