Reason:
We request bldg 24-DP1 normal 208V/120V bldg power shutdown from 12:01 AM to 6 AM on Tuesday morning, August 13th, 2013 for Bennett Electric to install a 125A circuit breaker in DP1 and tie-in power for a new 24-114 computer power panel as part of the 24-4th floor LNS renovation project by Barr and Barr Builders (John Bidgood 508-686-0870). Sudy Nally 8-8010 and Jennifer Combs 3-7671 are the MIT project managers.
DP1 feeds the following panels/equipment
The bldg 24-elevator
Normal power to the telephone switch room (ATS will switch to the emergency power)
6th floor power panels CP6-2 and CP6-3; all of 6th floor affected
Ground and 1st floor panels CP0-1 and CP1-1; Ground floor hallway outlets/lighting (includes the soda and snack machines) and all of the 1st floor
24-032 panel P-032-B-1; all the 24-032 computer power
24-011 panel P-011; all the power to grad student office 011
Ground floor panel CP0-1; also serves some power in 032 suite offices and some hallway power
Effect:
Loss of all normal building power for the duration of this shutdown.
