The following Fire Alarm System Shutdown (w/3rd party brief live audible testing) is for bldgs E18 - 5th/6th fl and E19-7th fl. is on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 6:00am - 12:00pm and then brief live audible testing is on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 6:00am til 10:00am is for your information and approval. Reason:
We would like to extend/modify the bldg E18-6th, 5th fl/E19-7th floor fire alarm shutdowns from 6 AM to 12 PM noon on Saturday, July 27th, 2013 for JMBCo (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2059) to tie-in and test speaker/strobes, verify sync and program modulus for gas monitoring system; and from 6 AM to 10 AM on Tuesday, July 30th, 2013, they will conduct a *3rd party brief live audible testing of the E18/E19 fire alarm system* as part of the E17/E18 backfill project by Barr and Barr Builders (Dick Akins 774-281-0162). Both the shutdown request form and work order # have been modified to reflect this extension.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
