Reason:
We request bldg 32-SF1, SF6 and EF5 shutdowns from 6 AM to 2 PM on Tuesday, July 16th, 2013 for relocating these fans on the Dreyfoos roof as part of the 32 roof repair project by Consigli Construction (Carlin Grenier 508-5509-2935). Keith Diggans 4-6174 is the MIT project manager.
When we bump SF1 and SF6 to check for rotation after they've been relocated, we will cause a momentary fire alarm system trouble. Carlin Grenier from Consigli Construction will call the OPS Center prior to the fans start asking for a trouble disregard. The trouble will clear itself when the fans are stopped. MIT CSG HVAC will be on-site when this happens and note the stairwell pressurization fans are normally off.
SF1 is the stairwell pressurization fan for stairwell 1
SF6 is listed as the pressurization fan for the vestibule
EF5 is listed as general exhaust for floors 1-9
Effect:
Loss of Dreyfoos Stairwell Pressurization and General Exhaust for Floors 1 - 9 for the duration for the shutdown.
