Reason:
We request a bldg 6C-208V normal power panel DPLIG1 shutdown from 2 AM to 6 AM on Tuesday morning, July 9th, 2013.
This panel is located in high voltage room 6C-0006AE and Bennett Electric (John Shaw 617-763-2840) needs to install a new 400A circuit breaker for back-up power the Prof Ceyer Lab on the 1st floors of bldg 2 and 6. This back-up power ties into a manual transfer switch in HV room 2-017E.
During this shutdown bldg 6C will be without normal lighting.
Lab 4-007 will temporarily go on generator power. Power panels A and B will both be powered and 4-007 will lose power only momentarily at the beginning and end of this shutdown.
This shutdown is being conducted as part of the bldg 2-Chemistry renovation project by Bond Brothers (Jesse Conklin 617-936-4175) and Marty Deluga 4-5081 and Joe Collins 3-3621 are the MIT project managers.
Panels fed out of DPLIG1 are 4-007 LPL4007A and B (DMSE Battery Lab) and 6C lighting panels LPL6G1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 - PLIG1, CPLI11, PLIG2, and CPLIG1.
Effect:
During this shutdown bldg 6C will be without normal lighting.
Lab 4-007 will temporarily go on generator power. Power panels A and B will both be powered and 4-007 will lose power only momentarily at the beginning and end of this shutdown.
