The following Fire Alarm (w/*live audible testing 6/12, 6/13 at 6AM) is for bldgs. E17/E18 on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 6:00am - 10:00am, then Wednesday, June 12, 2013 and Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 6:00am - 8:00am is for your information and approval. Reason:
We request bldgs E17/E18 fire alarm shutdowns on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 2013 as follows;
from 6 AM to 10 AM on Mon 6/10 for Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to program a 2nd floor tel/data closet smoke detector and remote alarm indicator, silent test - McPhee Electric (Mike Doherty 857-209-6424) to remove 2 existing speaker/strobes for wall demo;
from 6 AM to 8 AM on Wed 6/12 for Simplex/McPhee to activate/label the new smoke detector and tie-in and *live 1st party test on 2nd floor only* six new 2nd floor speaker/strobes;
and from 6 AM to 8 AM on Thurs 6/13 to conduct *live audible 3rd party testing of the bldgs E17/E18 fire alarm system but without sounding the animal quarters system, strobes only on 6*, to be witnessed by JMBCo (Wayne Maginnis 617-212-2059);
and all as part of the E17/E18 backfill project by Barr and Barr Builders (Dick Akins
774-281-0162). Joe Collins 3-3621 and Jan Burke 8-5463 are the MIT project managers.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of this shutdown.
