Reason:
We request a bldg E1 fire alarm shutdown from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, August 3rd, 2012 for JMBCo to relocate two second floor smoke detectors prior to ceiling demo and the installation of a new fan coil unit and as part of a renovation project in the President's House by Shawmut Construction (Frank Davis 617-406-7715). We will conduct a brief *live test of the bldg E1 fire alarm system* following the relocation of the devices. Jan Burke 8-5463 is the MIT project manager.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and a *brief live audible test.
