The following *revised previously approved fire alarm shutdown for Bldg. 31 - All on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from *6:00am - 1:30pm with *silent testing between 12:30pm - 1:30pm, is for your information. Any questions please contact Billy Homeyer x8-0432.

Original reason: We request a bldg 31-all fire alarm shutdown on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM for Honeywell/Schneider Electric to activate and calibrate 037/039 Ghonhiem Lab test cell gas detection system and to conduct *live audible 3rd party testing of the bldg 31 fire alarm system from 12:30 to 1:30 PM*, which will be witnessed by J. & M. Brown (Rich Cucchi 617-522-6800), in order to test the sensors and done as part of the Ghoniem Lab renovation project by Wise Construction (Chris Luongo 781-389-5749). Gerhard Sinani 4-1705 and Evan Koska are the MIT project managers.
*Revised reason: Dear all, I need to modify this bldg 31 fire alarm shutdown to include 6 AM to 9:30 AM tomorrow morning for Schneider Electric and MacNichol to tie-in a second level gas detection alarm. The first phase or level alarm comes in at the 25% and the second comes in at the 50% level of a hazardous condition. These gas detection level alarms only put the fire alarm panel into trouble and *live audible testing is not required*, all testing will be silent. Thanx, Billy H. 8-0432.

Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *silent testing from 12:30pm - 1:30pm.
