Reason:
We request a bldg W1-all fire alarm shutdown from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM for Simplex (Rich Perron 781-603-7799) to upgrade the main f/a panel's executive chip and then to conduct *live audible testing of the W1 fire alarm system, intermittently, between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM* in order to test 10% of the existing devices as required by NFPA and as part of the W1 building renovation project. Travis Wanat 8-7687 is the MIT project manager.
Effect:
Loss of fire alarms for the duration of the shutdown and *intermittent live audible testing from 9:30am - 2:30pm.
