Flakey, a VS-II in the watchmaker area, seems to not be displaying any
characters on the screen (including the boot sequence). The power light
of the monitor is on, and I can see a faint orange glow inside the
cabinet, indicating that at least some power is going to the filament in
the tube. There is also high-voltage in the monitor, as can be
demonstrated by feeling the difference in static on the screen between
its powered-off and powered-on state. The computer also seems to have
power.
I have not been able to do further diagnostics without swapping
equipment to determine if it is the monitor that is not displaying
characters or the computer that is not sending them (possibly because
the machine can't boot - ie. the boot roms are dead).
