Accomplishments during January 2002
- Revise startup and shutdown scripts on the server.
- Rebuild the database.
- Load data sets in SDO format and started testing.
Goals for February.
- Open the newly created GIS/SDS Lab for testing and services.
- Continue testing data in Oracle SDO format.
- Decide which format we will officially load data in, SDO or SDE.
- Schedule all members meeting sometime in March.
- Continue working on SLA.
- Continue working on the backup strategy.
- Continue working on project manuals.
- Continue planning and work on whereis.mit.edu map to be rebuild using GIS
tools.
Issues
- Authentication/Authorization issues with licensed data.
- Oracle SDO and ESRI SDE components.
