Accomplishments in Oct

- Process review teams for Leaves of Absence, Educational Assistance and
Terminations have been staffed. Team kickoff for LOA has occurred, other 2
are scheduled in next few weeks.
- Prepared for Benefits Open Enrollment. Final acceptance testing for both
the phone and web front-ends completed on-time. As of today both the phone
and web enrollment applications are in production and available to a pilot
group. Problem notification and escalation procedures are in place.
Beginning Nov 1 approximately 10,000 benefits eligible people on campus and
at Lincoln are setup to make enrollment changes via either mode.
Goals for Nov
-------------------------
- Pension Payroll exploration report complete and meeting with business
owners set up.
- Organization and Position Management pilot defined and agreed upon by
business owners. Detail project plan finalized.
- Sub-project for Personnel Administration module defined and project plan
in place.
- Effort underway to produce a summary of all process team recommendations
in a consolidated format. The purpose of this summarization is to "shop it
around" to several groups for comment and approval.
- Successful 1st month of Open Enrollment.
Issues
- Lincoln Lab direction in regard to HR-Payroll project.
