People, I was asked to prepare a purpose statement for our Process. Here's
a first cut, and we will discuss the text (and context) more at the next
Delivery Team Leaders meeting on 5/30. Cheers, Bob
The purpose of the Delivery Process is to successfully deploy new and
emhanced I/T services which have been qualified by the Discovery Process.
These deployments will occur in a manner that makes maximum practical use
of the existing I/T infrastructure and that anticipates long term support
requirements. The I/T services delivered will allow the MIT community to
effective use its information resources.
