Accomplishments Past Period:

* Continued maintenance and operation of NetBackup on the E40 systems.
* The reliability of the E40 backups has significantly improved. This
raises the confidence level for the W91 implementation (SAP Production backups)
* Updated the firmware for the DLT7000 tape drives
* Created daily reports of the E40 backup. the reports are now published
daily on the web: http://windsurf.mit.edu/ (EBS Reports)
Goals for the Coming Period:
----------------------------
* Stabilize the E40 backups and build Key stakeholders confidence in the
NetBackup product.
* Finish the SAN reconfiguration in W91 to support NetBackup. In particular
move the tape drives on the Tape Library onto the SAN
* Install the NetBackup software and activate the W91 Master Server.
* Roll out online backups fully on at least one host in E40.
* Update the Team's web pages.
