This month's accomplishments (June2001)
- Ran summer housing lottery from June 15 to July 2
- 607 freshman entered via the web interface; ~30 entered by fax; at least
20 asked to enter after lottery close
- A number of pre-frosh could not get Athena accounts, and some could not
enter the lottery on port 711, but could on port 443. No one could enter
the lottery on Netscape 6.01 (could on 6.1)
Next Month's Plans (July 2001)
- summarize reg98 & lottery learnings, including observations from helpdesk
& accounts
- plan for fall lottery and make modifications needed for fall lottery
Issues
- main client contact will be leaving MIT, need to arrange for backup &
transition
