This Month's Accomplishments
- Version 1.5 of the Events Calendar was released on time on June 10.
These are the main enhancements for this release:
* Changed the group management process to make things
easier for both users and system administrators.
* Created a text-only version of the manage events page
so that users with text browsers or screen-readers can use
this function more easily.
- Continued to review & updated system documentation in preparation
for an EAST transition.
- Steve met with Bob Ferrara to discuss winding up the delivery project and
plans for a project celebration.
Next Month's Plans
- Follow up with Rocklyn to on the EAST transition.
Issues
- Throughout the development of the Events Calendar, care was taken to
adhere to MIT's software accessibility guidelines. However, in discussions
with Kathy Cahill & Rich Caloggero from the ATIC lab, several suggestions
for increasing the accessibility of the calendar were made. It has been
decided to extend the life of the delivery project to accommodate these
enhancements. This work is expected to be complete by the end of the summer.
