This Month's Accomplishments
- Completed planning the changes to the events home page.
Passed a mockup of the screen to the usability team.
Feedback was positive.
- Created mockups for the redesigned "group management"
process.
- Created draft project plan for the "1.5" enhancements.
The plan tentatively suggests that the enhancements will
be complete during the summer term.
- Summary of the 1.5 enhancements:
* Modify home page (includes increased font sizes,
change to traditional grid-style calendar display)
* Increase fonts on menu bar throughout calendar.
* Change the group management process to make things
easier for both users and system administrators.
* Add a "preview" feature to the event edit function.
* Add "next day" and "previous day" navigation links to
the "today's events" screen.
* Create a text-only version of the manage events page
so that users with text browsers can use this function
more easily.
Next Month's Plans
- Present the planned enhancements to Kathryn Willmore, the
project sponsor and the system administrators (aka Calendar
Coordinators) for their approval.
