----------
- Implementation of 1st HR module, Benefits, for next summer is underway. Five
team members are dedicated to this sub-project.
Accomplishments in December
-----------------------------------------
- A standing team, the Policy Advisory Group, held their 1st 2 meetings in
December. This team has wide representation across MIT and Lincoln Lab. Their
purpose is to recommend on policy issues that arise throughout the project for
purpose of achieving timely resolution.
- The 1st business process review occurred in December. It was related to the
administration and billing of our Health and Welfare benefits.
Goals for January
-------------------------
- Overall project scope document completed and publishable.
- Three additional business process teams formed and kickoff meetings held for
each.
- Significant updates to project web-site.
Issues
--------
- For Benefits rollout, insure we allow enough time between system sizing and
hardware purchases, if required.
