Accomplishments Past Period:
----------------------------
* Conducted post 4.6C upgrade validation in the archived staging system (SF3)
* Met with SAP-Plan and reported on the findings of the archiving pilot
testing phase.
* Made the go decision to move the pilot to development, test and production.
* Continued to provide information and documentation for the upcoming SAP
Integration Test in December.
* Successfully archived the pilot objects in the development system (SF2),
purging ~25% of the database.
* Met with sponsors and declared success for the archiving pilot project.
* Sponsors suggested several additional projects could be defined:
- Project to 'archive' the remaining of the 'purgeable' objects
- Project focusing on online data retention (3rd party storage in scope:
Data Warehouse, IXOS, ...)
- Project focusing on a Production DB subset to refresh the non-production
systems
Note:
------
R3-admin will be responsible for:
* The archiving of the selected objects in the the test and production
system (SAP 4.5B).
* The scheduling of the quarterly archiving of the selected objects (SAP
4.6C).
R3-admin will meet with SAP-Plan in November to present the implementation
of these 2 items.
