General
-------
- Related Discovery project completed in March. Official designation of
Delivery project assigned announced at Academic Council and AO/FO Forum in
October.
Accomplishments in October
--------------------------
- Responses to RFP received from 3 vendors. RFP is related to strategic
advisory services and benchmarking project to similar projects.
- Proof-of-concept completed for Benefits module implementation prior to other
HR modules.
Goals for November
-------------------
- Oral presentations from 3 RFP bidders and evaluation matrix completed.
- Setup of new cost objects required for tracking expense and capitalized
portions of project.
- Decision on proposal to implement Benefits prior to remaining HR
functions in
summer of 2001.
Issues
------
- How to achieve deep involvement of Lincoln Lab persons in Delivery
project.
- Self-service integral to project and SAP delivers web-based self-service via
ITS.
Additional comments
-------------------
- Assignment of Susan Guralnik to project is critical to receiving proper
Community involvement. Susan begins project assignment on November 13.
