Accomplishments past period:
-The Nameconnector file continues to be adjusted as a result of feedback
from customers.
-There was a problem with updating the file, but Parlance responded quickly
and resolved the problem.
-Held the final team meeting on August 17, 2000
Goals:
Goals for the coming period are follow up for Joanne to complete.
Otherwise, the team work is done and the process of updating the registry
has been routinized.
- Perform additional check-in with Lu keohnae for ACD work (this will not
happen until the vendor transition for the new carriers is completed in
September.
- Project final report and add to project notebook.
Issues:
- Continue to try to schedule time to complete the ACD application for
queuing calls when Operators are busy and the NameConnector is not
selected. There are very limited resources to do the 5ESS work and we need
to wait as this seems to be low on the priority list.
Additional Comments:
The final team meeting was good. There were constructive comments about
what we could have done better. We wish we had anticipated the looping
problem and that the resolution to that problem was quickly done. The
Parlance reports will be more valuable when calls are queued correctly.
Learnings:
Continue to find the mix of IS and outside of IS team members makes an
excellent dynamic and strengthens collaboration with the wider MIT
community.
