Accomplishments Past Period:
- Announced delivery project
- Began to form team
- Began work on project web site
- Finalized ShopSite agreement and issued PO
Goals for Coming Period:
- Finish forming the delivery team
- Determine hardware requirements and acquire machines as needed
- Set up and begin working with ShopSite (in conjunction with 2-3 merchants)
- Set up and begin testing/evaluation of CyberCash Cash Register service
- Revisit strategy and products for long-term payment processing solution
Issues:
- Our preferred vendor for payment processing software for the long-term
(Trintech) tells us that their release schedule for the Solaris version of
the software has slipped again. We will need to evaluate other vendor
offerings in hopes of finding a comparable - or better - product which
would be available in a more reasonable timeframe. Simultaneously, we will
continue working with the interim solution, CyberCash.
