For those of you who really aren't sure just who the most qualified
journalist might be to tackle NREN policy issues, I thought we might
list a few others who understand all or parts:
John Markoff, New York Times
Don Gillmor, Detroit Free Press (I may have the spelling wrong)
Roger Karracker, Whole Earth Review
Art Kleiner, free-lance I think
Art Brodsky, Communications Daily
John McMullen, Newsbytes
And everyone should be on the lookout for the September 1991 issue
of Scientific American. It's devoted to networks and has articles by
Alan Kay, Negroponte, Kapor, Cerf, and others. Should be an important
work for future reference.
