does anybody know where i can get a copy of Cindy's Torment?
all the archives sites seem to have been closed down for some reason.

John,
One of the worst things you can do to some site is announce
that they have an archive of anything sexual (text, pictures, etc).
They will subsequently be buried in FTP connection requests.

There is a huge demand for sex that the resulting torrent of
FTP to sites that actually have sexually oriented materials on-line and
available tends to cause them to remove the materials in question to
lower their load. I have in fact been tempted to put such materials on
a public FTP server that we maintain, in order to exercise it and flush
out a load-related bug we discovered when we put up Macintosh System 7
for anonymous FTP (there is a lot of demand for our system software
too, it seems).

I have also heard that some authorities have forcefully
requested certain sites to remove sexually oriented materials from
their anonymous FTP areas, but I have no direct experience or
firsthand testimony to this effect, so I don't know if this is true.
