The librarians are missing quite a bit as far as what else it out
there besides libraries; if you look in
Section 5: What Else is Out There--Other Online Resources
. Companion Databases to Online Catalogs
. Campus-Wide Information Systems
. Specialized Databases

they say there's no general guide to anonymous FTP resources, which is
not especially true.
