In the midst of these serious and heated discussions about achieving
equitable competition on the Internet, I thought readers might be
interested in how at least one corporate titan sees the best use for
high-bandwidth connectivity.
Time-Warner, which is creating an experimental 300 channel cable system in
Queens, New York, is going to use 75 channels to broadcast the same movies
(three, by my math) at 10 minute starting intervals.
Well, that's one way to achieve video on demand.
