It is my understanding that you have documentation available which
describes the Conditions of use of traffic on the Internet.

If you could email such documentation to me, I would greatly
	appreciate it.

        Please reply to: 274-0106@mcimail.com.

Paul,

I believe that you are seeking the Interim NSFNET Acceptable Use Policy
which describes the purpose of the NSFNET and types of usage consistent with
that purpose. I will send you a copy of that document in a separate mail
message. It is important to realize that the "Internet" is made up of many
different networks, of which the NSFNET is only a portion. As such, it is
possible that your traffic will not even use the NSFNET to reach a given
destination. It is also possible that additional policies of your network
service provider may apply to your mail. The first place you should go for
this information is your network provider; let me know if you need a contact.

If you have any questions regarding the policies that apply to mail for a
specific destination then send the details to the NNSC at "nnsc@nnsc.nsf.net"
and I will get you the information as soon as possible. One last note:
"com-priv" is a discussion list on the topic of commercialization and
privatization of the Internet; it is may not be the ideal place to send these
queries. I'll send you some mail addresses of folks closer to you who can help.
