Have been a com-priv lurker for a while now, and watching discussions
re: press coverage with keen interest. Parenthetically, I would
encourage any one who's interested to look into the coverage on Internet
commercialization found in Telecommunications magazine since
approximately last January. Happy to provide citiations to relevant
articles (about 10-12 in all I think) if contacted via e-mail. For now,
I'd simply like to point out that our November issue -- which is now
wending its way through snail-mail --- contains two articles that may be
of particular interest to com-priv subscribers. One is written by
someone who's name ought to be fairly familiar: Vint Cerf; the other is
by Jay Habegger, who also frequents this list. Both offer interesting
and enlightening perspectives (in my opinion, of course) on some
controversial issues. If anyone has trouble getting their hands on
copies, I'd be happy to furnish them electronically. ....
