The Unix Expo being held in New York City this week is sharing
the Javits Center with POPAI, the Point of Presence Association something
or other's show, with exhibits by the folks who do supermarket displays,
neon signs, logoes on umbrellas, and all sorts of other promotional
stuff.
Having [socially engineered] a POPAI badge, I was about to wander in
when I noticed the folks nearby -- also wearing POPAI badges and about
to walk in -- were badged indicating they were from Elmsford, NY, from
a company called ANS.
Unable to resist the opportunity, I said, "So I see ANS really is
going retail."
Yup, same ANS. [ Like me, they were exercising their curiousity. ]
